Hardscape Construction
Once your plans have been approved and your permits have been secured, our team is ready to make your dream come true. This is when the excavating process begins for your construction project:
1. First, we’ll spray paint the outline of your patio and structures.
2. Next, we’ll excavate your patio, piers, and outdoor living structure using transits, engineering equipment, and excavation equipment.
3. Once we have the patio grades shot, we’ll reroute all drainage and run any underground utilities needed for your project.
4. Finally, we’ll pour your patio, which begins the next phase of your project.
Stonework & Masonry Services
This is the point at which your project really starts to take shape. Our expert stonemasons will build your fireplace, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, seat walls, columns, and any other stonework you need.
​This phase could take several weeks depending on the scope of work. At this point, we may make changes to enhance the overall project, depending on how the stone masonry is shaping up at the time.
​Such changes often require no additional costs, so please feel free to talk to our staff if you have any new ideas. If you’d like to know more about making changes to your project, we welcome any question you may have.
Grading & Clean Up
Now we’re ready to start cleaning things up and determining the final grades for your landscape. Once we have removed all trash and construction debris, we’ll bring in topsoil to backfill, level out your property where needed, and create the final grades for your landscape.
Irrigation & Drainage
The irrigation and drainage phase of our landscaping services is often undervalued. However, this phase is actually very important to the long-term health and success of your landscaping.
1. Our irrigation crews will modify your sprinkler system to fit your new landscape. We may install drip irrigation to pots, add bubblers to your new trees, or add pop-up heads to your beds and lawn — whatever your custom landscape design requires.
2. We’ll consider the best possible way to minimize water waste and put the final touches on your drainage system.
3. Finally, our lighting crews will run the wire for your landscape lighting.
Landscape Installation & Lighting
This part of the project is what most people truly enjoy watching.
1. Our crews will excavate some of the existing soil and add rich landscape mix to your beds.
2. We’ll install your large and ornamental trees.
3. We’ll plant your shrubs, perennials, and groundcovers.
4. After everything is planted, our lighting crews will install your custom landscape lighting package and adjust them to best showcase your beautiful new landscape.
5. Once installed, your beds will be top dressed with mulch to complete the beauty of the project.
Final Details
Now that your project is about 90% completed, we’ll address the final details. This is the phase at which many other landscape companies fail to finish the job properly – and thus fail to meet their customer’s expectations.
