The Dig
Once your plans have been approved and your permits have been secured, our swimming pool builders are ready to bring your vision to life.
1. We’ll start the excavation process by identifying how and where our equipment can access the location for your pool. This typically takes 1-3 days.

2. We’ll form the outline of your pool.
​
3. Next, we’ll dig to the depths specified in your plan using transits, engineering equipment, and large dirt-removing equipment.
​
4. Finally, we’ll hand-shape the pool form to exact dimensions.
​
5. We’ll use crushed rock in certain locations to help with the effects of vertical rise in the soil.
Plumbing
Regardless of sanitation type, the quality of your water chemistry depends on proper movement. At Premier Custom Landscape & Construction, we design the suction and return elements on every pool.

1. We’ll equip all plumbing lines that penetrate the shell with water-stop fittings to prevent leaking.
​
2. We’ll install the plumbing lines side-by-side to avoid future plumbing breaks due to ground movement.
Expect to use an area that’s approximately 4-feet by 8-feet for your pool equipment (and an additional 4-feet in length if adding a spa or heater).
Steel
1. We’ll custom-design your pool steel structure to coincide with the ground conditions evident in your area.
2. We’ll customize steel size, spacing, and box beam design based on specific soil composition.
Pool Shell
Whether it is a bigger, standard box beam, bigger standard skimmer boxes, or the removal of rebound, each of our pool shells is built with quality components that are unique to our industry. Your custom swimming pool will be the best our industry has to offer.
Electric & Gas
Our master electricians and plumbers oversee all of our work. With safety-critical phases (such as electrical and gas line work), Premier Custom Landscape & Construction uses only master electricians and plumbers that physically perform and inspect the work.
Tile/Coping/Water Features
With a huge selection of tiles and copings, your choices aren’t limited by any means. Whether we’re building elaborate waterfalls or reliable retaining walls, our masonry work is second to none. This phase of construction will transform your pool shell into a customized work of backyard art.
Decking
Whether you prefer a timeless finish like salt rock or hand-seeded aggregate, or a high-end upgrade such as stamped concrete, pavers, or natural flagstone, we deliver expert craftsmanship on every deck project. Our team uses only premium materials, including top-tier sealers and a broad selection of color options to ensure your deck stands out and stands strong.

Many outdoor living spaces also include a fireplace, a fire pit, heaters, seating areas, and audio/video components. One of the primary goals of our outdoor living services is to “bring the indoors outside.”
By creating structures that accommodate the way you live, you can utilize and enjoy your backyard 365 days a year. With the addition of patio covers, cabanas, arbors, and fireplaces, you’ll increase your enjoyment of your backyard and increase the value of your home.
Please Note: The complexity of your project will determine the amount of time we need to complete this phase.
Pool Surface
As your pool nears completion, the final finish makes all the difference. At Premier Custom Landscape & Construction, we rely exclusively on the trusted SGM line of interior finish products — including upgraded quartz, premium blends like Durazzo and Diamond Brite, and more.
Every finish is applied by licensed professionals to ensure lasting beauty, durability, and full manufacturer protection from the industry’s most respected name in pool surfaces.
Filling & Start Up
The kids are probably ready to jump in by now! A little patience will be needed as our staff starts up all the equipment and balances the water. At this point, we’ll put the final touches on your pool, including labeling the pipes, and cleaning & vacuuming the interior.
On-Site Training
Your investment in a custom swimming pool is substantial, so we take the time to show you how to protect that investment.
